Reverse Discrimination

It seems like a lot of racist things are being done lately to try and prevent racism.
1. During Obama's election I heard a lot on the news and from people I know about how they were voting for Obama because we needed a black president. Did they think that choosing a candidate by race would combat racism?
2. The case about throwing away the Firemen's test record. THIS IS THE DUMBEST ONE. They didn't want to seem racist by having white men take the highest scores. Did they think they would get into trouble for keeping facts? As long as white people do well it must be rigged lol.
3. The new Supreme Court Justice. She has a lot of support from Democrats. Obama chose her because she is a Latina women. Isn't it a bit of discrimination when she is chosen over a white male because of her gender and ethnicity. (Dont start a fight about how good a judge is. I am not saying she shouldn't have gotten into the pool of potential judges or even become the chosen jude. I am saying that the reason I have been hearing about for her being chosen from the pool was wrong.)

In short, apparently we are making up for past descrimination by descriminating against white males. THIS IS IN NO WAY SHAPE OR FORM FIXING THE RACISM ISSUE.

Agreed. It just sucks how many people feel they are owed special treatment, and therefore don't see the reversals they are instituting as racist (even though I wholly agree that they ARE).

Although it's just like reading in the bible that Moses freed his people from the terrible opression and slavery to the egyptians, and then a coupld pages later, his descendants are talking about their slaves like they forgot what the fuck they even left Egypt for.

It all comes down to this: whenever you're the one doing the discriminating and opressing, that because you know what it feels like and have it in your past it must be alright to go ahead and overlook doing the same things to someone else... which, I don't even have to say... is ludicrous.

Although, if he really wanted to help, he could have chosen Hillary as his vice president, then he would have ended sexism as well.
