The Kennedy Curse

I recently read a book called the Kennedy Curse. It goes into the death and pain of the Kennedy Clan and how death strikes most of the mebers of that family at an early age. Even if it wasn't a curse, the Kennedys were reckless and did things that were dangerous. I'm gonna explain what I remember.

In WWII a close relative of JFK died in a secret misssion when he failed to head warnings by a superior officer.

Joe kennedy, JFK's father, had a massive stroke just after his goal of getting a son into the white house was accomplished- rendering him totally unable to interact with JFK's politics.

JFK himself failed to use the safety precautions for his motorcade in Dallas and was subsequently assassinated.

Ted Kennedy nearly died in a plane crash while driving through a storm in the 60's. Not smart.

Ted almost died again when he drove his car off a bridge while driving drunk, leaving a woman to die and leaving the scen of the accident.

Robert Kennedy was assassinated in California.

Micheal Kennedy, Robert's son, died in a skiing accidnet in Aspen, Colorado.

JFK Jr. died in a plane crash after his orthodontist instructed him not to- John was recovering from a broken ankle.

Thats just a very few of the deaths and accidents in the history of the family. What do you think about the Kennedys or the idea of thme having some sort of curse?

I think that the Kennedies should stay away from Martha's Vineyard (my hometown/homeisland). It was here (on Chappaquiddick) that Ted Kennedy killed the girl, which, by the way, anyone who knows Chappaquiddick knows that there is no way one could have mistaken the road he drove her off of from a regular road; and it was flying here that JFK Jr. died.

Now we just have to get rid of the O'Nassis clan so we can get our beaches back.

There is no such thing as curses, or luck, or charmed cicumstances. It's all statistics and random chance. You fly on pain killers and you probability of a crash goes up. You drive around exposed your chance of getting shot goes up. If your an idiot your chance of leaving your dead girlfriend in a lake goes up. The no mystereous force guiding thing. It's strict probability.

I see your point, and I think it's right. The bad choises simply rose their chances of dying, and probabilty was high for these deaths to occur as a result. The whole clan was wreckless and made stupid judgements.

I don't believe in curses either, but it is interesting to at least learn about these sort of things and try to find a pattern even if it never amounts to anything really.

Is he still alive? I remember something recently about brain cancer or something. Did he die or just quit or just get cancer?

Yeah really. I'm pretty sure he is still alive but damn if he's still in condition to be a senator.
