I'm doing my best, but every time I work on it my computers Virtual Memory caution sign always pops up and ends up going EXTREMELY slow. I'm still JUST getting it complete. I've added at least 6 parts, main menu done, NG intro done, pre-loader done, All I really need to do is add in the 3 or so parts that's left, finish off the author bios and just add a quick credits page. . . I wanted to do something more complex for the credits, but the way my computers handling the collab right now, I'll just have to do something simple. I just hope that my computer doesn't blow the FLA file, last time I tried exporting the file, it said it didn't have enough memory to export the swf :s

@DENZEL-CROCKER AND MITOSIS. Both your parts used V-cams, and I need you to record that into a movie somehow. And then send the movie to me in an FLA. Please PM me if you need more info. . .

It's just the way that my computers running, I don't think it can handle medals. . . But if it can when I finish, I'll see what I can do ;)

well lets see this a last option, i hope that you can handle your computer problem :) i had the same stuff when i made SPRITE TV2 :s

@JKA - I feel your pain. That Disney thing was crashing my shit regularly toward the end, and it has gobs of memory. The V-Cam issue is a targeting issue. Most V-cam scripts explicitly define _root as the target. Using _parent instead, and stashing everything in a single movieClip usually makes V-cam problems disappear.

I can't tell you how many times I said, "Jesus... if only everyone was a pimp like Osuka". His shit was named correctly, sized correctly, organized, and had a CS3 and 8 version ready to go. Copy. Paste. Done.

I didn't really care abut metals, it would have been a good way for people to know that there are easter eggs to look for. Still wish we had the character select, but oh well. I really can't wait to see this

"Please put your submission in the form of a single-frame movie clip in your main timeline. Name all your assets as username_object name...for example, if I have a movieclip of Snake's head, I'll call it "johnnyutah_snakehead1" or something to that effect."

Since then Im making all my FLA in that way :D

Yeah.. I wish I had thought about that before I started makeing my part for this collab. Im guessing that my part must be a nightmare to handle. But from now on all of my flash will be a regular tour de force in the art of organizing :P

yeah im pretty sure i raised that idea earlier on in the beginning ofthis collab and we told people to do that.

how do you emb a avi in a flash?

import your .avi. A wizard will open. Use it to select quality, cue points, cropping and trimming, and choose the embed option. This will embed the resulting .flv directly into your .swf. Usually I stream it externally for web projects, but for NG, I always choose embed, and pray that it's not over 10 Mb. :)

There isn't any real decision on submission date and I'm not going to make an official date since every time I do, it never is realise at that time. . . I'd say. . . two or so weeks. . .

I'm trying to find time to work on this, been mega busy with school and haven't got around to much on it. . . The main problem is that it keeps slowing my computer down every time I do work on it, and makes it almost impossible to function appropriately.

Just when my hope starts escalating, the ride stops and crumbles down with me in it :(.

Oh well, if it makes you feel better I am bombarded with work for the finals and essays due :P. So take it easy and hopefullly sooner or later it will come out!
