What's scary isn't the choice of Reynolds, but the other people who were interested. Justin Timberlake? Really?Besides, Reynolds already has a superhero role. HE'S DEADPOOL, WHO'S FUCKING AWESOME.

Seriously, if Reynolds was going to be cast as a DC Hero, wouldn't it make sense as Wally West?

It's too soon to judge my feelings either way bout his, as if it will make a difference anyhow. RR's smart-assery can be down right annoying in for one role, but totally befitting the next. As long as they are planning on him playing the Kyle Rayner incarnation of GL, it might not be so bad. Especially considering the alternate choices for the role. someone needs to tell Timberlake to stay his pasty ass out of Hollywood from now on. Let the real actors handle things.

The scary part is it's Hal Jordon, not Kyle Rayner.

Ryan Reynolds is mildly sarcastic at his best. Anyone who has read the actual comics knows that Deadpool is an over-excited phsychopath who never shuts up and is incredibly over-zealous. Ryan Reynolds was way too calm and collected, and frankly too quiet.

This is what I thought. Reynolds is just a calm, sort of emotionless guy who just makes pseudo-witty remarks. Deadpool has enthusiasm, something Reynolds doesn't really display.

On a hilarious note, my film history teacher was telling me about how Reynolds has been fighting for the opportunity to play the flash for awhile now. He has a homemade costume that he wears and everything.

Sean Young did something similar when she tried to get the part of Catwoman for Batman Returns. She was drunk and confronted the director in a homemade catwoman suit XD
