I don't care what the crap people say! If I were to do a part that was not DBZ related, people would have thought if it as being not as cool. But if I did (which I did) a part that has some DBZ related action, people say it such a ripoff!
Sure, I can understand that. No really, I do. But make up your freak'n minds people! Its obvious that this a case of "Alvin Earthworm only" animations. Everything else they throw out the window!
i feel you on that everybody acts like he was the first sprite animator to ever use dbz sound effects

The alternative is to not use sprites. Then you're free to use any sound effects you want. You also end up with 40% less haters in the reviews.
I usually frequent the VG and collaboration Forums. If you find me anywhere else, I'm lost and can't find my way back.

I am not giving up on some sprites just because of some series called SMBZ. I have every right to use Mario and Sonic sprites just as much as a pro animator does!
I'm sorry every time I say something to you, Gustavos, it seems like I'm angry. Keep catching me at the wrong time.
Actually, I do have something good to say, your review was the best out of everyone else's reviews I've seen so far. It was almost perfect! :'D

I <3 you too.

Well, I didn't have a problem with the SMBZ style animation. I just thought the battles made no sense. And it didn't help that random characters popped up for almost no reason. But still, improve the game, and you could make that a game all by itself.

Well, that's what happens when I can't put a story in my part. I was afraid something like that would of happened. But, like I said before, what's done is done.
Why putting sense into battle if there is no one?
Just enjoy the random battle. =P
Hey, can all of you support the "Add the Sonic Battle Collab into the Sonic collection" action? =P
Gustavo is right at some point though. But we are the ones that keep sprite animations alive.
They are the ones that remind our childhood. If we give up, making them, then it's like Sega giving up on the Dreamcast. A huge disappoint.
That was a good one, right? I'm bad at this. ;_;
...
And it's our cheap excuse for: "We can't draw" =P
I must've been asleep, when did this happen? I shall add you now.

That's just the way I am sometimes, I can't stand having a fight without a story. But I knew this collab was focusing on doing it for the fun of it, so I wasn't going to start being a pain in the neck. I still liked how turned out anyways.

I'll do it, but only if you guys check out the latest Site News Post. It's a pretty good one alright.
WOOT !!!

I concur. Sprite animation isn't a fad, at least not anymore. It's a way of animation. Sure, the creator probably used sprites as a lazy excuse of not having to draw, but consider the alternative future. Everybody flaming on people who still can't draw. A comedy can't be funny unless it looks beautiful. Does that sound fair? I don't want to wake up one day to find everybody turned into a flash elitist. Where only perfection is allowed. That's not quite Everything by Everyone. That's Everything by Some Guys Who Will Not Accept Amatuer Flash
Newgrounds was founded by amatuers. People who didn't care if their movies looked incredible. They just wanted to make viewers entertained.
Anyway, Sprite animation is one of two ways to make flash movies. The other way, is drawing. I just felt that sprites weren't for me. And that drawing allowed me to express video game characters the way I wanted to. And not be limited only to the sprites on the sprite sheet.

You mean, that you won a Wacom tablet?
In that case, congratulations on that. =D

That's okay. Nobody can make everyone like everything, so I got used to it.
Also, the poses of sprites are unlimited too. You just have to "draw" them. ;)
up pkmn thats true because i "drew" my knuckles sprite sheet

Good work on it by the way.
I liked the palette you used on your Sonic and Knuckles. And the poses are well-animated too.

tyvm for adding my new uname into the collab.
Hope everyone has a great new year! :D
Also excuse me for the double post, but, what's with the "Mochibot" advertisement at the beginning of the flash? 0_o
Well, visit my homepage, if you want to know. =P
Then on the link "Click here to check, how many people already watched it."
The link is self-explained.
That's a lot of views, it's over 3000.
-funny sentence goes here-
3000? That can't be right.
It's even more than that. More like 6000 plus.
I know, I know... Bite me.
Eventually it will be "OVER NINE-THOOOOOOOOOUUSSSAAAAND!" XD And about the SMBZ style ... no offence to Alvin or anyone else for that matter, Alvin isn't the first one to make a DBZ style flash movie, it's just the he is very talented at what he does and stands out more. Other flash artists make great attempts at making flash movies and their amazing! But there is always some people that will say "OH! SMBZ RIP OFF" and then rate you badly, I mean WTF. I'd like to see them do better. ROFL
*rant over*
XD
