System, for damn sure. Bullet has nothing but that generic scream-o crap, while System has meaning behind their songs. Listen to Aerials, and/or BYOB and you'll get what I mean.

I would say SOAD by a LOOONG shot. SOAD is actually unique, even by mainstream standards.

I think Sticky Sticky Attack Attack is a better band that Bullet For My Valentine, becaus crabcore just rocks. But seriously, if your going to listen to dark depressing music, goth is way better.
