Wario Land 3 Golf.

I bought a used Wario Land 3,and I'm stuck very early in the game.
I cannot figure out how to play the golf minigame,it came with no instructions,so I'm stumped
Could someone please tell me how to play it,so I can get on with the game?

You press the button to start the power charge, press again at the power you want to hit it, then you press it again when its near the bar at the start of the power bar. The closer to the bar your final press is the more accurate your shot is.
