Well, I was sitting outside a radio station in London eating a Subway, and Richard Blackwood came out and walked past me.
Thinking about it though, you asked about famous people.

Bruce Campbell, all the guys from System of a Down and a few other bands at various book and record signings. As for just running into random celebs out and about, my Dad ran into Mr. T and Hulk Hogan in an airport once, and my wife and mother in law ran into Keanu Reeves and Dennis Hopper at a Tomato festival.

I got to get in the ring with Booker T at TNA once. (Yes I know wrestling's fake, we ALL know) It was pretty fun. I got a picture and he autographed it. Think I also met a couple other TNAs afterwards.

I have met:

Bill Cosby - he started my relay race at the Penn Relays one year, then shook my hand after we had won.

Joan Rivers - was eating at the same restaurant as my family down in New Orleans. A random woman who was dining there requested that she act out a scene from one of her movies with her, and Joan actually obliged. I simply just went up to her and said hi. Very cool woman.

Meb Keflezighi - the guy is remolding American distance running into a competitive force. We hung out briefly when my team was training at altitude in Northern California.

There're a buncha celebrities all over Gloucester and Cape Ann right now. They're filming some Adam Sandler comedy around here, so every couple days I see someone in my facebook status update with something like "I just had coffee with Adam Sandler!" "Adam Sandler almost crashed into my car!" or what-have-you.

I've never really met any celebrities. Whoopi Goldberg was in Virgilio's (a local bakery) a couple summer's back and I was like "is that? ... nah" and didn't say 'hi' or anything. Turns out she's got a vacation home around here for that exact reason: people don't really bother celebrities around here. Ha ha, Gloucester's full of assholes. Virgilio's was packed and nobody said anything.

Don't be jealous. I said I've only SEEN him in public. I've never met him. Besides, I wasn't exactly sure if it was him or not.

If I met Tom, I would shit my pants and orgasm at the same time.

Agh, his name escapes my memory!!!!!

He's also in "The Blues Brothers". He's the fancy restaurant waiter that serves the Blues Bros.

Not sure if that helped anyone out.
