Not to give Maestrorage a hard time, but do you plan on making MAC9 again this year? I still have not been able to participate in this epic event lol.

Has everyone noticed that Rucklo hasnt been on? I also remember him telling us that the Mac's would be put on hold for a while. Sure, i'm looking forward to another one as well, but we have to wait.

We'll just have to wait and hope they come back with one we all like. As impossible as that is, pray for it. In the mean time, keep writing. The only way to improve is to keep moving forward.

Ah true, oh well, Im trying to make my third CD. Once its done, will i be able to Advertise it here in the Forums?

Ask rucklo. Usually advertising via a new thread is reserved for respected community members. Your sign up date says 05 but I don't think I've noticed you until recently. That doesn't mean anything of course. For all I know you've been lurking the forums since before chron and I just plain never noticed you until a few months back. Thing is, if your really curious about it, ask rucklo. I just released an album too so I'll be asking as well. Last time I released a digital download album I didn't feel like it was appropriate to make a thread about it, so I posted about it in my blog and linked to it in my sigs.

I guess what it comes down to is what do you think?

If it's a commercial release, talk to Rucklo or one of the other bigwigs and you might get permission to do so - Newgrounds is always happy to promote the success of its userbase!

i've been more or less away for a while, since i've been working hard with the arvikafestival (with production and sound at one of hte stages).
that's all over now, but there's still a few things to do with cleaning things up, restoring the PA and other equipment from where we took it etc.

i'm pretty much just llurking, and won't be all too tangled in forum nor moderator activities until next week or so.
it'd be cool to make another MAC, i actually have some extra time on my hands the next few coming weeks. we'll see what goes down, i guess.

I always thought it stood for "Monthly Audio COntest" and then the number after it was the year... but i've been wrong before. :P Anyway, glad you're coming back Rucklo, i remember reading a while ago that you were a pretty busy man.

Yeah ill be sure %u2020o ask him as soon as i finish the CD, which wont be for a while. And yeah i've been on this Forum for years, I just never talked in the Audio forum because i was intimidated by everyones knowledge. Just recently i felt like being active in the community, and trying to help whatever way i can.

That is correct, although it's pretty much never actually been monthly.. and the title is selected so that it's easy to find the threads. since you can't make three letter searches, it's perfect with MACX where the X is the year like you say.

as for me, i never "left" like that, i'm just around more or less, depending on how much i have to deal with IRL... just like everyone else! :)
