What do you guys think of this?
I am currently filling it in digitally with Paint Tool SAI.
I edited the nose and mouth a little in the digital version also.

But it's still manga. Get a decent style please.

Manga can be decent, you just won't get anywhere with the style.

Well yeah, thanks for kicking in an open door. But the topic starter said: "What do you guys think of this?", so I can give my opinion, right? And my opinion is that manga is an overused style because a lot of people can't draw faces right, so they draw manga-style instead. Usually manga and effortless art go hand-in-hand.

I feel that your style has stretched the head and face a little more than would normally be found in manga. The are are to the extreme. I would go for something a little 'rounder'. I 'squished' the head in photoshop to show you what I meant about being stretched.

I hope you don't mind. (The last person I did a visual edit for wasn't pleased with it.)

This is just generic animesque shit. If you're goiing to draw manga shit, at least try to add your own style to it.

id say even for manga the eyes on the first piece are way too big, that was obviously stylistic choice, but not one I like. my view on art is weird though, i think the best art is when you do something totally different or new from what youre used to, and you suck at it, then you practice, try other shit, and come back to that later, eventually you have all kinds of stylistic tricks under your belt, if its strictly anime manga stuff, its always going to be.....constant and never changing
