First I was like 'Good job, bro'
and then I was like 'what? :| Computer science, really?'
That doesn't matter, the fact that he graduated from Cambridge, will look very good.

Actually in computer science your personal portfolio of work tends to be extremely important, rather than what university you graduated from. YES I KNOW that the university still plays a role, but that's not my point.

A good friend of mine is going there this year to do it. It's really tough because you need to be very good at different scientific disciplines, so well done to your sister. He's off to Gonville and Caius, which provides me great amusement from the fact that Professor Stephen Hawking is sometimes around but his actions are pretty much a secret to the undergrads.

Nice.

I'm thinking of doing some study abroad at either Cambridge or Oxford, although it takes a ton of planning in advance, so I'm still not completely sure if I want to commit. Although I've never been to Europe at all, so it would be nice to go at least once.

Oh wow, I was with a guy from Cambridge on Sunday, we played a variation of bulldog as a exercise and fun thing earlier with a group and I was telling him about it, then his friend said what's bulldog and his other friend said oh must be a northern thing.

"Fried eggs and toast sir? Would sir like that?"
