On out user pages we have the option to edit our user page news, I like that.. What I don't like is the Updated: 07/04/09 11:22 PM Part.. I posted the news post less than an hour ago, but now I have to look at Updated: 07/04/09 11:22 PM..
I think if a news post was edited withing 2 hours of being posted the UPDATED info shouldn't appear.. I don't know :/

Its important for administrative tasks, also you can check that to make sure your updates go through. If you've totally messed up a post and you just made it, but you don't want that to be there, delete the post and put the right stuff in the new one... Not that big of a deal really...

I really don't see the problem with this. I don;t think people really care when we updated the news post.

You are very obsessive compulsive. First the medals thing, now this. Though I do agree. It is a bit annoying. I would say just make a new post and delete the other one.

While I rarely post news posts, and even rarer do I edit them, I would just delete them, then make a new one. Although that does lose you all the comments, so I guess you can't win.
