You do know homo has nothing reletated to being gay. Homo means the same and sexual is of course sex so it means the same sex. like homosapien means the same species or something. Anyway because the group of people who use this word arnt particuly the people I wanna talk to because of simple reasons.

Whenever one of my friends say that I promptly respond "No homos no fun". You can't negate your gayness with two words at the end of a sentence, lol.

No homo doesn't make the statement you just uttered any less gay. People say that so that they don;t feel gay about themselves, but I know that when someone says that, i still say dude you're gay. And most of the time they do agree that they are some what gay for uttering that comment,regardless if they used the term no homo.

Scenario: John and Mike have been best friend for years. They frequently talk about their lives and are always honest with each other. One day, they are having a man-to-man conversation about John's girlfriend, Susan. Here's an excerpt...

I think the usage of the term in this context can possibly been considered appropriate, as Mike may just be saying how loyal he'd be to John as a girlfriend, which parallels his loyalty to John as a friend. Then again, this may actually be Mike's way of saying that he wants to be John's "girlfriend" or simply wants John to fuck him in the ass. It's open to debate.

Maybe. I see what you're say, he's hiding the gay by saying 'No homo.', but it cancels out the gayness nonetheless.

I've heard that phrase before although never in real life and I've always considered it fucking retarded. If you were really secure in your sexuality and your friends new it, they would understand. It was probably invented by the same loudmouthed assholes that yell 'PENIS' and 'FAGGOT' at the back of the school bus.
