Yes, because without America, I would be sitting in a boiling lake of mantle-magma right now.

I'm going to have to ask you to defend yourself and explain why you hate living here before we all assume you're a stupid douche.

It's a pretty alright place.
It IS a rich country and worth visiting as well, I gotta say though that some of the minority of people there are annoying jerks, besides that I have a lot of cool friends from there.

Be grateful you live in a country that provides you with education and the tools to be successful. Though it's good to travel abroad for a perspective on culture...

Now i'll just sit back and watch a 20 page Flame-war of why the US sucks from arrogant dickheads that are so common here.

Interested? Probably not. It's okay, I wouldn't be either. Just PM me

That argument is so stupid and flawed that I won't bother arguing it.
fine I will
You have a computer and a house, therefore you are fine moneywise. You are still in highschool and you probably don't have to pay for anything important yourself, so the economy isn't really affecting you. Ethnicity should have nothing to do with how much you like a country, for instance if you were a Jew and you happened to be able to get out of Europe during the Holocaust. You can't buy your own car yet. You can't say anything about the economy, but that was your argument for why America is bad.

Overall I think you made this topic because living in America isn't cool or edgy.

Funny thing about this country. It's easier to step out of America than it is to get back here. I found that out when I went traveling.

Pfft... sure you can. Who's stopping you? What because you're fifteen? Don't make excuses. If you really wanted to go, and really had the balls, then you would go. Otherwise, shut up, and quit bitching about it. Obviously your life isn't all that bad. You have a computer, you have the right to complain, and at least you know who your parents are. You could be a whole lot worse off, so for now, just try to appreciate things the way they are. When you finally grow a pair, and decide to move out of the country, THEN you have some room to preach.

Now then, onto your question. I don't hate the United States, no. I don't particularly care for it either, but there are worse places that I could be. I strongly disagree with our government, and that the main reason our president is in office, is because they pushed the "If you're black, you have to vote for this guy, and if you're not black, and you don't vote for O'Bama, then you're a racist". Something like 98% of the black voting population picked O'Bama. (Don't quote me on that) You can't tell me that 98% of ANY culture is going to select the same person. 80% is at least realistic, and happens quite often actually. But that is simply a mockery of the U.S. voting system. Do I believe that O'Bama was the better candidate? Possibly. McCain was an awful candidate to put up against O'Bama, but would I be able to think of anybody better? No. Although McCain should have realized that "I voted just like George Bush on lots of stuff" wouldn't really work, when clearly the public DOSN'T LIKE GEORGE BUSH!

Other then that, I strongly disagree with all of our different types of taxes. See some of my more current posts for reasons why.

I also don't really like where the U.S. society is headed as a whole. Our idols are now morons like Lil' Wayne, and Paris Hilton. That spells the end right there.

There are MANY problems with the U.S. but for now, it's not the worst place to live. Do I believe that some time within the next fifty years that there is a very strong chance that it will be well on it's way if not already a third world country similar in very many mannerism's to the war states in Africa? Yes, I strongly do believe that. O'Bama is in my oppinion the current head of that.

Bush let the economy fail, but O'Bama is not helping with plans like his current credit card idea. You're giving people more reason to not pay their bills, and punishing people like me that actually pay for things on time. This will believe that this will soon become quite an uproar if this plan isn't overturned shortly, simply because of the way that I see good hardworking United Statesians reacting to it.
I watch, and I pay attention to the people around me. The people that arn't paying their credit card bills are hitting the malls again, and blowing their fucking money more and more, and arn't going to pay for it. This will cause a major problem in the economy, and cause an even larger deficit, while as people that have been paying their bills, and HAD good credit scores like myself (I had a 720 score when I was 20) are now having a harder time actually buying things, so we simply aren't buying things anymore, and it goes back to the exact reasons as to why the people with good credit have good credit, and people with bad credit HAVE bad credit. Because people with bad credit are going to spend money anyways. It dosn't matter. The problem is that they're spending money that they likely arn't going to pay back a large sum of it for fifty years, or possibly longer. While as people with good credit have good credit because they're fiscal with their spendings, and aren't spending money right now, because they realize things for the way they are, and the way they're going. Not to mention that since our credit card limits are being reduced because of all the irresponsible people, we're not buying expensive things anymore, and the credit card company's are going to see an even larger deficit because of it.

Now these are in fact all just ramblings, that make sense in the mind of a professionally diagnosed paranoid schizophrenic, and a nihilist ex-skinhead Nazi to put the cherry on the top. So does this hold any real water? Only time will actually tell, but I seem to be quite good at predicting the way people spend their money, so I have to agree with my own insane self.

NOW THAT IS HOW YOU RANT ABOUT HOW YOU DON'T LIKE THE UNITED STATES! Give fucking reasons other then, "Oh it sucks, dude.".

Please for the love of god, everybody should just start saying United Statesians. It sounds stupid, but it would seem that most U.S. Americans ARE stupid.

I used to hate American when I was an uneducated, ignorant prick. its so similar to most developed countries. Every country has its ups and downs.

There is no reason to hate America as a whole, its silly. Hate some politicians or certain laws, ways of life. America is a damn good placxe to be, as is Canada, Europe, Australia, etc.

I hate America NOW, but as soon as Obama turns things around, I can proudly say I LOVE it again.

George Bush (Well, mainly Karl Rove. Bush didn't know what was going on, so he just willingly signed a bunch of shit not knowing what would happen) fucked up our economy. He raped our social security lock box (the country's LAST few dollars) of 2.5 Billion dollars within his first term. It WAS supposed to be set aside for health care costs that would arise in the future, but George didn't care. In addition to that, taxes were decreased on the highest wage earners and the higher taxes got passed on to the middle class and the lowest wage earners. Almost ALL of the tax refunds, which were given out to stimulate the economy, were given to the top 20% of America, ironically doing the opposite and digging us into a deeper rut, making the rich richer and the poor poorer.
He blamed this mysterious disappearance of all this money on 'terrorists' and 'weapons of mass destruction' which were never found because they never existed. Idiots. Iraq wasn't our war. Most people had no objection to going into Afghanistan, but going into Iraq just to get oil when the war was over was another thing. We were fighting two wars at once. Thank fucking Christ he didn't get a chance to get too far into invading Iran as well.

In their two terms, the Bush Administration has lost the most jobs in America's history since the great depression. He also got us into two wars and 9 Trillion dollars in debt. Whoopee.

Shifting gears for a moment....

Why is gay marriage illegal? Because George Bush was looking for a scape goat. He tried to blame 9/11 on gays, and caused Americans all over to waste money on gay witch hunts instead of realizing that he was only doing this because he wanted to distract them. Who is gay marriage hurting? Stopping them from getting married doesn't stop them from being gay. It just makes you look like and asshole. You are not benefiting in any way by banning gay marriage, but by doing so, you are denying two people the chance to be together. They are not being treated as equals, and I am disgusted by the fact. How many gay teenagers have been killed by fucked up religious nut teens trying to 'do the right thing' and 'stop the sinners'? A lot. When you cram religion fucking down a child's throat from birth and try to make them believe something and make them hate a certain group, you get school shootings, resulting in the death of a couple of gay kids. Congratulations. Careful what you wish for, right bigots? The KKK did that too. They told little kids, who were too young to understand, that blacks were wrong, and so were Jews. The children, thinking this was right, as they had been told from birth, acted out on their beliefs, i.e. trying to assassinate our president just because he isn't white.....beautiful.

When we decide to hate, we all need to look outside of ourselves and ask, 'Am I really that much better?'. "Let whoever is without sin cast the first stone." meaning that you may kill and chastise people for sinning.....if you yourself have never committed a sin. I myself admit, that I am not perfect. I shouldn't hate America, because I'm no prize pig myself. But I think things need to change. So ask. Can we really change America? Can we really make our country a better place and prepare ourselves for a brighter tomorrow? As one man put it; Yes we can!

.....yes, I know that last line was and incredibly gay cliche. I just had to say it.

Some people have big hearts. I have a big penis.

Forget America. American's have had their (our) chance to succeed (as individuals). America is and has been a great place to fulfill your dreams. It's the poor and over-ruled countries that need help, places that people don't have a chance to be successful in.

Very true, but this thread isn't "Which country would it suck to live in most?". It's about whether or not you like America, reguardless of whether or not you live there.
