I am aware that the iPhone, as of now, does not have flash player, and so, is not compatible with flash related software.
My question is, what is it compatible with? What programs can be used in coherence with the SDK?
Note, I'm using this because I'm thinking about getting a mac to develop iPhone apps.
Also, anyone know what language it uses?

The iPhone SDK is a collection of development tools provided by Apple, and it uses objective C.

It uses Objective-C.
Only "Apps" written on a Mac will work as I know.
Unless you get a hacked OS X (OSx86) and the iPhone SDK in a VM if you want Linux or Windows instead...

This will not happen. Ever. The only chance for Developing on a non-Mac is installing OSX, Vmware or winchain/something similar.
