Man I'm all about tokin up. I been smokin fer about 6 years now. Sure its got me in trouble a few times. Rehab n such but Mary Jane is my mistress n I aint gonna stop hittin it. Well weed is good fer ya cuz well it alleviates pain n stress n most of anything thats wrong. So ta end this. Smokers keep smokin, non smokers suck a dick or hit the pipe.

I don't really like either side of the "issue", truth be told.

One one side, you've got your PTA protective parents and "Above the Influence" assholes who think that weed is as bad as cocaine or heroin and that people who smoke pot are worthless hippies who will amount to exactly nothing.

On the other hand, however, you have those douchebag college-type hippies who are EXTREMELY well informed about marijuana and will not shut up about it when the subject comes up, and god help you if you turn down a joint because they'll go ON and ON about it.

Basically, I don't like the Above the Influence side and I don't like the side that can best be summed up as the episode of Family Guy where Brian legalizes marijuana.

My personal viewpoint is that I don't think that pot is extremely bad or anything, but i'm really not going to go out of my way to get it legalized. Like, I'll smoke it, but I won't go around with a clipboard trying to get signatures for a petition or anything like that.

Just fucking drop it. Seriously, Everyone is so fucking sick of your whole view on the phrase "smoking makes you a cowboy."

I think it should be legalized, but heavily taxed and regulated by the government. Otherwise, shut the fuck up about it. It won't be legalized until we have someone with an open mind in office. Anyways, I think weed is a medicine. Something you only use when you need to use it. Plus, I can not stand potheads or even the pothead lifestyle. But I am forced to live with it.

I personally think all drugs should be legalized, 18+ or whatever. I don't think the government should have the right to tell you what you can and can't consume.

I will make it very plain. I'd rather have pain than a Mary Jane because I'm not insane.

i smoke it quite regulary like once or twice a week it does me well and makes me feel good. Also the no hangover part has it's uses as long as you dont go overboard and let it control your life i believe that it can be quite relaxing and fun.
But that said...it costs quite a lot :(

Well, I just sort of wish that the people who DO smoke it would make sure not to abuse it, as too many weed smokers do.

Too many people smoke daily or several times a week, which is excessive, in my opinion. Weed is a drug, and should not be used frequently. Recreational use is okay with me- I've been known to occasionally partake- but when it gets to the point where you're regularly smoking 4 or more times a week, that's when I feel like someone has a problem. I don't think I've ever smoked more than 3 times in a given week, or even more than 6 times in a given month, and that's my record. In fact, I easily smoke less than one time per week during the summer, and I smoke once about every 3 or so months when college is in session. I smoke infrequently because it keeps my tolerance low so it takes less to get me high, and drugs and the like should be used only in moderation. Also, I'm cheap.

I think it becomes more necessary everyday. Its a drawback to a successful life but a good life is getting harder to achieve so you have nothing better to do.
