Animating Sprite Help!!!

i need Help i have this cool idea for a flash movie but when i made yoshi walk or run it doesnt look realistic it looks like a slideshow of yoshi its too slow... and i tried motion tween but it stays to one symbol. i need help because this is confusing me and it's frustrating because Yoshi looks static nd my fps is 24

im using Flash CS3 Pro

What dd you try to motion tween? it's not gonna animate the sprite itself dude. Also where the heck is his running animation?

a movie clip... a graphic is for still images... a movie clip you can go inside of it and animate stuff, then move it onto the stage from your library, and it will be a continous loop...

a movie clip... a graphic is for still images... a movie clip you can go inside of it and animate stuff, then move it onto the stage from your library, and it will be a continous loop...

i wouldnt put in any ease... ease is to make it speed up, or slow down... so it depends if he starts running quickly, or he comes to a slow stop...

well they told me ease adds more of a gracitational pull when he jumps. it makes it look realistic.
so how do i make Yoshi put a foreign item in his hand (EX:a gun, or a bat. because im making a mexican Gangster Yoshi)
