I get to go to a friend of my parents house and since I'll be the oldest male I get to set off the big ass fireworks. And hopefully watch a minor league baseball game afterwards with some professional grade fireworks.

I was thinking of going to the beach with my family and maybe seeing a movie or something. Of course, I have to work on that day as well (in this economy, I need all the work I can get) so I'm going to have to leave at 3:30 or so, so I probably won't get to see a movie (especially since I'm thinking of seeing the new Transformers movie which is 2 and a half hours long).

No it isn't. You don't capitalise the first letter in the sentence, you don't have full stops consistently, and you spelt the word "there" wrong. It's meant to be "their" in the context you've used.

Probably not, but I'm sure they'll set some off. I have fireworks though, I see them every fucking night because they're legal here. So after the literally 800th time they get annoying.
