Aside from a few similarities in the trailer and SOME characters, I fail to see how this is a rip off of TF2.

No spy, no Engineer, for one. Besides, from the actual gameplay it just looks like a typical TPS.

Well, the music, the overall theme of...not childish-ness, but you know, not being a super violent game.
And plenty of characters that seem exactly the same: OMG GIRL WITH BASEBALL BAT.

If they change up a few things, it might turn out to be semi-decent. For one, some of the weapons-COUGHPIBEBOMBMINNIEGUNANDBASEBAL LBATCOUGH.
Another thing I noticed is how that scout chick double jumped. That too should be changed.

Not to mention how the blood is blue instead of orange. Why not brown for god sake....

Even the sniper rifle sounds exactly the same. And sniper having the same secondary weapon (SMG).

It is ripped off TF2, though anime fans will deny it because there are female toys.

I kind of agree. Not only that, but from what I saw in the gameplay reel at the end, weapons are restricted to certain character 'classes' either. Although, at the same time, I saw striking similarities with the Scout-like anime character and death in general. They explode just like they do in TF2.

I love parody games. I remember other games like Parodious (parody of Gradius), Kid Dracula (parody of Castlevania) and Eat Lead: The Return of Matt Hazard (parody of just about everything).

Man why are some people so butthurt over this? Companies have been ripping each other off since the inception of Pong. There's nothing wrong with taking a bunch of good ideas and adding your own little flavor to it. Sure, there are blatant ripoffs but we cannot deduct that from the trailer provided. Hell, lets look at some successful rip offs that nobody seems to notice:

Halo: Rips off every FPS before it.
Guitar Hero and Rockband: Rips off Guitar Freaks, an arcade game from Konami.
Call of Duty: Rides the wave of success made by the Metal of Honor and Battlefield series.
Saints Row: One of the more successful GTA rip offs.

And you know what? A lot of people enjoy these games. H.A.V.E. appears to borrow a lot of ideas from TF2, but who says it's going to be exactly the same? All the classes from TF2 aren't there, it's in third person. I donno, it looks okay. Who knows? Maybe it'll be a good alternative to other class based shooters.

It looks horrible though; it's got exactly the same weapons and class system but the gameplay looks horrible.
