that guy was black... how the hell did he become white?
that question really ticks me and like whenever im sitting with someone they always go

Yeah but skin cancer doesn't turn you neon white. There is a disease that does turn you white but it does not work gradually like what happened to MJ instead it shows up in blotches. My guess would be some kind of bleaching of the skin, but i do not know any method for this.

And Vitiligo doesn't turn someone completely white so he lived on bleaching creams to even out his skin tone then tons of make up from the moment he'd wake up to the moment he slept just to look as normal as possible, or at least that's what he hoped..

Can I clarify something?

Vitiligo doesn't turn your whole body white. The disease removes pigmentation in patches on various parts of the body. Michael Jackson was incredibly embarrassed by this and then got the surgery to turn his skin white in order to hide the fact that he had patches of white on his dark skin.

tl;dr Michael Jackson cared too much about what everyone else thought.

Most likely. But I suppose that comes with his up bringing. A kid I knew from school actually had vitiligo, a case seemingly worse than Michael's (though I suppose that is debatable), and he was totally fine with it. I'm sure if he could have fixed it, he would've, but it didn't seem to be a very important thing to him. So long as he had his life and friends, it did not matter to him.

As for Michael, he wanted everyone to love him. That's why he had the series of procedures done to him, so nobody made fun of him for his condition (ironic how much that back fired, huh?)

My uncle has it on his hands.There is a procedure I believe that you can undergo to make your whole body white so as to counter the unsightely white patches.
