I Have decided to start an experiment, being interested in maximizing time, REM sleep, and training my body to sleep less, so while everyone is asleep I can finally relax, and and be alone.I have already began this experiment.
objective: Train my body to only need 4 or less hours of sleep a day
Hypothesis: I could train myself, and adapt myself by changing my sleep cycle, and in a 2 week period (or longer) complete my objective, by increasing the amount of REM sleep I get.
The actual experiment: For the next two weeks, I'll slowly decrease sleep time beginning from 6 hours (current, I am an insomniac) and judge if I can decrease the time by my alertness, and how long I can stay up, I will constantly check the time to measure amount of REM sleep I get a night (my alarm is set up, and I really got no other way), and alertness by various test through the day.
anyone do anything similar to this? any notes or tips?
