What about this monstrosity? Apparently Atari tried to blend the awkwardness of the 5200 with the brilliance of the Mega Drive. The result is less than aesthetically pleasing.

Honorable mention goes to the Virtual Boy. I used to have one of these and damn was it badly designed. It would have been more comfortable used as a double ended dildo.

I hated the original xbox controller, took me awhile to get used to it

what was the one with the analog stick that was labld "c". the analog stick was yellow, i don't know the name.

When I was young I could pick up any controller and be really freaking good with it...
I do however hate the nunchuk.. for the wiimote... Just gross if you ask me. The classic controllers feel sexy though.

OMFG. ME TOO!!! Understanders! The main problem I have with it is the uneven distribution of buttons. PS3 controller is easy to hold.

You just can't get used to it.

The one in the picture certainly is. I got some third party model that looked just like that in gold. It was not the same as the one that came with my system. The joystick was much too stiff and the handles sucked too. No one wanted to use that controller at all. I bought the n64 controllers by Nintendo afterward to replace it since no one wanted to play a game using that piece of shit.

The only other controller that compares is the bulky version of the xbox controller. It is just to big for people to use whoever designed it must have intended it for giants. I have big hands and i can't even get over how awkward it feels to use.

You people are sick and wrong. Quit complaining about the damn gamecube and N64, it's not their fault ur chunky fingers make it hard to use them; I personally think they were awesome at the time.

Besides, I think it's fair to say that the worst controllers are:
. CD-i remote - it made their games even worse
. Jaguar - how the heck are u suppose to handle that beast? (pic below)
. Atari 5200 - as the Nerd clearly showed, they're pathetic.
. Original Xbox - it put me off buying, i went round my friends to play can't-remeber-which-game and finding it a real pain in the ass (not gay)

Seriously. They break in a couple of weeks and are poor imitations of the original.

Also, any of those 3rd part Xbox Mini controllers. If you thought it was hard to hold the big controller, then you haven't played with these. I have little hands and I couldn't even use the mini one.
