If you are up for the challenge of testing my game for glitches, please do. I have trouble testing my game for glitches. I usually pass up glitches because I know how the game is supposed to be played. If you have a comment about how the graphics and game play, I will take that as well. But don't get your hopes up, because I am not changing the graphics or game play of my game. I just want to know this info for future projects.

Better graphics, better gameplay.
Glitches :
Typo on difficulty, it says "diffeculty"
When you jump on the side of the big block, you get teleported up.

needs better art, gamplay seems kinda good but could use improvements, other then that its good.

Eh, I think you need to improve the run cycle for the main character, its a little off, and the AI for the game seems a little weird, the enemies don't really attack you, they just kinda run around. But an OK game in general.

I beat the game on medium (level) by just jumping to the right. At the end. The enemies have larger hit boxes (their attack) and If i jump around em. They turn around and attack. So you will take damage fighting them, no matter what.

Thanks! I will change the hitTest to "shapeFlag" besides using the normal hitTest.

A nice storyline...

Things to look out for...

-You should attempt to draw the backgrounds yourself

-Picture files like that will boost your file size much bigger than it needs to be.

-The character animations are a bit jerky.

but overall a nice start

I went outside once the graphics were awesome but the gameplay was shit

Since everyone`s basically told you to make better graphics, which is what I would say. I just hate how unprofessional it looks. Bitmap backgrounds. The font used in the opening is so terrible and overused.

Oooook? So, no Bitmap backgrounds, and fix the opening text. Thats about all I am getting from your post. Thanks for the feedback. But could any one tell how to improve the graphic of my game with more detail.

Up the framerate. It makes it seem terrible. Usually 18-24 is a good fps.

Up the FPS, improve the graphics a lot. The preloader showed up fully loaded, then flashed to half-loaded and then it started loading from the bottom.

A lot of spelling mistakes in the storyline, You should read through your story and check it for instance after beating the first level i got a text box saying

" Stop! I fell his presents. "

Which i assume was meant to say:

" Stop! I felt his presence."

Also the text speed to read the story was annoying. I was sat there just pressing Next to skip the sotry becasue i couldnt be bothered to wait for the text to appear.
If you get the text to appear all at once then keep the next button players can read at their leisure or just skip the story, then its up to them.

The scripting seems rather basic to me, the way the player attacks. i could just hold down the button and he'd attack endlessly without stopping. If you make it work like in Super Smash Bros with combos that would be nicer. Where you have to press a key within a certain frame of the animation to continue attacking.
The focus on the game seems more to the story line than to the actual playing of the levels as i found myself just continually running to the right, avoiding fighting the enemies because there was no point.

Can be improved quite a bit but good effort

This game is VERY cluttered, I think you really did just go on as you made it, also, tip, photo's don't make good backgrounds, EVER.

Also, there aren't any melee attacks, and the hit detection is complete shit (it had to be said, it IS.)

You can also run right through a level.

Also, if you're going to make letters appear that slowly, then just either:

1. Increase the frame rate
2. Don't do the "type as you go" effect, it makes everything slower to read.

It's the only way out!

First off! There are melee attacks... did you go to the manual?!
Second, this is kinda helpful, but I have heard this all before.

Opps! I forgot to tell how to play the game!

"Arrow keys" to move and jump

"s" to kick
"d" to punch
"d+d+d+s" to use shock wave stomp
"s+s+s+d" to use static punch

"double jump+ s" to use arieal strick
"double jump+ d" to use stomp

"a" to use power attack
"w" to switch power attacks
"f" to enter a mode
"q" to switch modes

"Ctrl" to pause

And that is about it.

o i was playing the beta i guess u fixed some stuff. i got up to the boss fight and next level then just stopped cause the sound was so messed up. as someone said before i just jumped over most people but i think u fixed that too.

That was pretty ugly, and bad. I forced myself through the main menu and even through the intro screens, but then I saw some arrows and your guy falling (maybe a cutscene? maybe the game?) and I just closed the window.

It wasn't very pretty to look at.

Better graphs,(expect in menu AND intro and little with everything)
also you should make better fps(im meaning Frames Per Second)

but after those updates it would be very good game :)
