Carnival games, shooting cups or blowing balloons giving you a letter 'S' 'M' 'L' 'XL'. And they end up all being 'S' for 'Small'. Bastards rippin' us off.

Some guy went to bristol zoo as a parking attendant and charged very reasonably £2 for cars and £5 for coaches all day. He didn't miss a single day for 20 years until one day he doesn't turn up. So bristol zoo phone their council asking for them to send along another parking attendant, but they say they never sent one along in the first place. It turns out that this random person had just gone along and pocketed about £800 a day for 20 years!

Thats £292,000 pounds a year and £5,840,000 in total.

Lucky bastard.

Yes, you have to buy it. So I have to say they're both useless.

I saw some HSN show that was talking about their TV being a great deal because they included an HDMI cable, which they said costs $60.

It was pretty pathetic.

In the paper I read about this Christmas scam called "Lapland New Forest" in which some twats rented out a forest, put a load of shit-looking fake trees and whatnot in it, and charged people entry to the place having described it as being much better than it really was.

Pictures of the shithole here.

I actually read about that place and what people had to say about it for about six hours one night, just because I was so incensed with rage that some bastards would actually go to such lengths to rip people off. I'm not even Christian, but I really felt sorry for the kids and families who had had their Christmases ruined by the cunt that organised the whole thing. Hopefully someone's caught up with him and smashed his fat face in.

A shifty Polish man on the street once told me that he was leaving the country and couldn't bring home a 3000 euro jacket. In a desperate attempt to make money, he said he would sell it to me for 100 euro. I knew it was a scam, but when I passed this man again, he sold the jacket to someone. People are idiots.

I'll make you a sig. Pm me or visit this thread.

You got that right. People never stop and think, "If he's got something that's worth so much money, why is he selling it off so cheap?"

It reminds me of this scam I saw on TV once. A guy set up a little stall or whatever at a car boot sale, and he claimed that he was selling off £10 notes that had been soaked in that paint that they get on them when someone tries breaking open a cash machine. He was telling people that if they bought this 'solvent' from him and also as many £10 notes as they wanted at £1 each, they could use the solvent to clean the notes and they'd be as good as new.

He conned people by getting a real £10 note out which was soaked in dye or whatever, selling it to the potential customer, and then showing them how easy it was to clean. Then because the customer had bought the real note, the scammer was like "You paid for it, now you can keep it." So people came over and started buying £100 and £200 worth of these notes, but of course the 'notes' that he gave to the customers were completely fake.

How can people be so stupid? They never stopped and thought, "Hold on. Why would the guy give me £10 in exchange for £1 when he could just keep the £10 notes himself?" Morons.
