Well, after recently getting back from a week in Tennessee, I've seen quite a bit of Southern monuments and national parks. One day on this trip, we drove down to Mammoth Caves in Kentucky.

The weather was stuffy and humid outside, but when out tour entered the caves, it started to become freezing.

The tour was great, with little amounts of stops, and the caves themselves were immensely beautiful. It's incredible to me how such large caves were formed by erosion.

Has anyone else been to Mammoth Caves? If you did, what part did you explore?

Here's a black and white picture of a bit of the caves.

I don't think I've been to those caves, but I have seen some on vacation or something. Yes, they are indeed very fascinating things, especially when you get a look at how vast they are.

I'll have to resist the vagina jokes for a minute. But uh, we went up to Mass. a few years back, they have some pretty cool caves up there, with underground rivers and such. Cool places. Literally cool, too. The air didn't cycle so there was a good temperature difference between outside and lurking in a cave.

There were a lot of things named after food. I left when they were talking about the carrot stalagmites.

Lol, those are like an hour from my college. Carter Caves are a bit further north, but definitely worth seeing.
