I feel the thing, and I answer it. If I miss it, I call them back. If I'm expecting a call, I will turn on the volume for a bit in the generic tone will ring.

Vibrate does the job.

Mine too, ring tones are annoying. Most of the time I can hear it vibrate, especially if I'm out, I think it's totally just annoying to have someone's phone ringing a really loud annoying tone.

Funny ring tones on the other hand. No. They're not funny, they just make you look like an attention whore. Especially when you give off a smirk and look around to see who's laughing when your phone rings and let it ring for a minute.

I have a blackberry so I just searched "zelda got item sound" and came up with a random audio file that I then put on the berry. I dunno where to get an actual "ring tone" per-say.

I'm proud to say I have the eight-second clip from Endless Handbag that's in the Audio Portal. I also have the Mirror's Edge theme tune for my phone's alarm system, and have used "Comfort Eagle" by Cake on occasion.

As a general rule, ringtones from those TV adverts or online service providers suck.

D'yer Mak'er by Led Zeppelin. If you have verizon you can send song sections via email and then say "save as ringtone". It's bad quality, but it's better than paying money for a bad selection of music in my opinion. Both ways are legal.
