holy site updates batman!!!

i was gone for about 10 seconds off the site, and when i get to the front page i see a "game of the moment" panel....is this another "big update" taht tom has been talking about or is just a little thing they added for the hell of it

It's a good idea but I think it's a little un-fair to be blocking out all of the rest of the front page. Maybe if it was below the movies on the front page, so it was actually at the top of the games it would make more sense.

It is taking up a bit of screen real estate, I'll agree, and in my case it pushes the games below the fold. This particular arrangement also pushes the music further into obscurity.

I think they should split the game of the moment in half and have the other half be movie of the moment, and then get rid of the featured series and collections section. This would allow other things to bubble up.

The games barely get any recognition. The first thing you see is the movies. Most people don't even scroll down anyway.

Newgrounds is most known for games by most people that come here that aren't actually regulars. the games get A LOT of attention.

Game of the week seems ok. Tom's personal recommendations for games and movies are actually pretty good usually. Like "Sprankton" he recommended and it whoops ass, and "3-Ali" which is jesus.

That was typed wrong. The games on front page a very unnoticeable. Lot's of people will look at the first couple movies, staff posts and go to where ever they were going.
