Well, some basic pointers specific to you:
.Less massive images
.Don't put text straight on to a black background
.Don't use "coloured" text, white or very light grey is fine on dark backgrounds
.Don't have so much on one page
.Don't have all your info on the first page
.Don't use that horrible blue for "alternating" table rows
.Don't use stock images (better to have none than the same as everyone elses)
.Pictures that have white backgrounds, and you can't easily remove should at least have some kind of visible border to show where the background ends and the picture begins in a less tacky way.
Take a look at things like wordpress layouts, yes they don't look amazing most of the time but you can see the same structure over and over again because it works.
2 columns: 1 for navigation, 1 for content.
Simplify the page: people often don't like being bombarded with information from the get go, especially when they don't know fuck all about you / your company / your site.
Introduce yourself: Who are you? What do you do? Where do you do it from?
Info spam: Don't just put a massive table of fixed prices for things that don't even sound relevant to most people. Give them an easy to read and understand page where you don't really suggest taking their money. Say that all quotes are given specific to the person / company asking for the service. You put a fixed price on people straight away know you are A) To cheap to be any good or B) To expensive to be worth the time.
I'll be honest though, you really need to get the site out of the 90's and into the 21st century.
