I can't get it too match. I screenshot it, and put the exact color as my signature. It matches in Fireworks. Then I upload the gif and it doesn't. Halp!

Do you save your signature as a .gif or .jpg? If you save it as .jpg, you can select the quality. I'm not sure if you can do that on fireworks, but you can do it on photoshop.

I'm not sure about Fireworks, but over the last couple of years post redesign it has been only jpg that has been off in color when I export it in Photoshop. Because, in PS, you are able to 'save for web' which gives you various options for how exact the palette is and at hat size you need it to be. When I do this, my gifs are exact.

And so my only suggestion is that you try Photoshop if you 'purchased' it along side fireworks in a CS suite because it has these options.

But yeah I am not familiar with Fw.

Fireworks:

Save as > gif > options > Palette: exact.

Save as > jpeg > options > Quality: 100.

Jpeg will give you the best quality.

Also, make sure the matte is set to 25272D if you are using transparency.
