Hey I did post this in the WiHt forum but there's only been one response and I really need to know before I submit my new project tomorrow!

I recently installed the Flash ads API into on of my games called Escape the Can, how long do the stats usually take to update as apparently my July earnings are 0 despite the game having close to 100k views according to my MochiBot.

I need to know asap how long they take to update because if it's not working I'll have to go back to MochiAds...

Thanks guys.

It recognised the game when I exported it in Flash...

I would suggest you to go with Mochiads actually, NG Ads doesn't seem very stable right now.

If I compare the MochiBot stats with the NG stats for my game Cheat2Win for June, then only about 1/3 of the views actually generated an ad impression (and for a view to count you must proceed from the preloader, an impression can be generated by just loading the game).

On top of that, the eCPM for those impressions were as low as $0.002. This doesn't bother me so much as the game doesn't have very many views anymore, so even in the best case scenario I wouldn't make very much from it, but still. I have contacted PsychoGoldfish about these issues, but he never got back to me.

So to conclude: I haven't tried MochiAds myself, but if I had to choose an ad service today it would definitely be them, simply because NG ads seems like such a risk to me.

Thanks for the advice knugen, I've actually gone ahead and installed Mochi for my new game.

And to Luis, I have installed it correctly, everything is in the right folders and when I export in Flash the output actually says I'm connected to the NG server and it's recognised as Escape the Can.

must admit I'm pretty dissapointed, i thought I'd give the service a try and see if it could beat Mochi ads but it's unfortunate that this has happened, as i most likely won't use it again for some time until I find out that it's actually working correctly.

Either that or I have done something wrong...which i'm 100% sure i haven't.
