Does anybody have it? What does it really add to the wii, if anything? I heard it's supposed to be a lot better since it can more accurately tell where the pointer is. Problem: It's already pretty accurate.

For pointing, yes, it already is pretty accurate. But for something like, controlling a sword or trying to do a miscellaneous motion, it sucks.

Plus, in a shooting game my remotes have a tenedency to have the pointer fidget around on-screen. If I'm pointing to the right, it darts to the left at random times when I don't mean too. So many deaths from that.

I sort of doubt they'll have some fix for that, but Wiimotion plus is essential for games that aren't buttons with occasional waggling,

Yeah, I'll definetly be picking up my copy of Wii Sports: Resort, with a free motion plus, doesn't it come out on like the 16th?

I'm actually going to get it with Red Steel 2. That said I have 2 controllers, and sports resort actually looks pretty cool.

Nintendo had to do something after Sony took away what made them unique with the PS3 motion sensor thingamajig .

I bought the accessory a while back so that I have at least two when I also get Wii Sports Resort, and I also rented Grand Slam Tennis. So far I'm not quite impressed. I was expecting every one of my movements to be mimicked on screen immediately (essentially, 1:1 movement), but apart from preparing for a shot, my character on screen only reacted after I did a full swing. If I swung on the wrong side of my body, my character would react by hitting in the right direction to get the ball.

Although I haven't played for long, it seems the Wii Motion Plus doesn't deliver that exact 1:1 movement, at least in this game. It could be the game that is messed up (and for its defence, the game is better with Wii Motion plus since it is better at detecting top spin and slicing), but until I play a better game, I do not have too much hope for the accesory.

I might have my chronology mixed up, but seeing as the Wii Motion Plus was announced almost a year ago, isn't it the other way around?
At any rate, I wont be picking one up unless I buy a Wii game that requires it

Which I most likely wont, but you never know.

The game does not need the Wii Motion Plus, but it enhances the gameplay if you do use it. I have yet to compare the differences between playing with the accessory and without it, but I have yet to also stop hating the game. Therefore, I don't think I can adequately tell you how good the accessory is until I am able to refrain from cussing at the TV screen every minute.

The motion wand will already have 1:1 motion, which was just announced after only a month while Nintendo took 3 years to announce theirs.

Funny.

If you're talking about the PS Eye, then whatever.

It has been out for almost a month now. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Wii_MotionP lus

I definitely saw one in Wal-Mart a few weeks ago, nothing third-party.

You honestly think Nintendo knew about that while it was in development? Wii Motion Plus was starting development over a year ago.

I occasionally find the remove lagging and being unstable if my hand shakes a little. I think it's supposed to be more precise in that it will be more fluid in its motion reading. Also, since it's on the other side, I think they'll use it for things like swordplay (now if you try to do that, the thing is pointed away from the sensor bar). At least I hope so. I'd love for the new Zelda game to have incredibly realistic swordplay.

I fear for future generations

Hmmm, first I am accused of not knowing which games the Wii Motion Plus works with, and now I'm accused of buying a third-party knockoff. Geez, you skeptics.

Like Chumbawamba said, the accessory has been out for awhile because of Grand Slam Tennis and Tiger Woods '10, at least I believe that was Nintendo's reasoning for selling the accessory before releasing Wii Sports Resort (which releases near the end of this month). I just bought one before Wii Sports Resort because, like I said before, I have multiple controllers that will need the accessory.

From what I've seen, Tiger Woods seems to be better with the Motion+ on the Wii than it is on the PS3 and 360.

It's generally getting better ratings.

Sadly, the creator of No More Heroes has stated that since he wants to make his game a franchise he will be taking it in a direction away from the Wii.

Alright, it'll get sales on other platforms by fanboys of said platforms who heard about how f***ing awesome it's supposed to be. They'll see how bad it is, and rant about it to no end. The franchise will fall, due to poor sales. For once, company greed had done something right.

I recently sold my Wii from the fact that it sucked and didn't want it just for NMH2.

This is great news that it's coming. And it is good.

Actually I've had experience with The Conduit, Dead Rising: Chop 'Till You Drop, Resident Evil 4: Wii Edition, Super Smash Brothers Brawl, Animal Crossing: City Folk, and DragonBall Z: Budokai Tenkaichi 3.
All of which I thought were very good. I've done some reading on No More Heroes 1 and personally hated it. Something about it just rubbed me the wrong way.
