You may not obtain a sponsor with the trial version of flash, it is illegal. If you feel you are good enough to start being serious with flash, buy the full version online. Then you can go get a sponsor. Newgrounds wouldnt be my choice... you should go make your game/movie, and then go email some various flash companies such as Armorgames.com, jayisgames.com, Kongregate.com, e.t.c. Just go look up some in google. and email them all! Some will respond and provde you with offers.
What happens next is they give you their logo to put on your game/movie. By showing that logo, you advertise their site and therefore attract people to their site, which then 5% click on adds on their site, and they get profit. Thats why sponsors PAY people to put their logo in their work.
