Oh, I should include some stuff from the conversation I had with Luis on ideas for the store.
I was saying how there isn't enough items that serve a large purpose. It's all very recreational with T-shirts, keyrings, stickers etc. There's not much use for them. I'd like to see more items which can be used with everyday life. Even simple ideas like NG Pens, NG Flashlights etc. Just something that can be bought and be considered 'money well spent.'
Also, the Alien Hominid Plushie thing should happen with other users. Creative users should create one-off/batch products and sell them via the store, obtaining a profit for themselves and Newgrounds. There could be monthly competitions for potential store products where the best product (voted by Newgrounds public) gets put on sale for a limited time or until the stock runs out. If users choose the product out of a range of them, it increases the chance of a sale and you're also getting direct feedback.
I also said how the referral system seems like a flawed idea that will just end up in lost money. It's hard to make it so it can't be abused easily and just doesn't seem worth the trouble. Nothing really stops someone from making an account, referring their main account, purchasing and getting 10% off for doing jack.
Anyway, they're just my ideas.
