my mom is bugging me

so my mom just got her first mobile phone (a really shitty one) and i have to help her get used to it. i've explained how to text messages, use POP3 email, how to call somebody, where her inbox is located. it's hell. every time i explain it she just ends up yelling at me for not helping her. :'(

She wanted me to help her make a myspace, so through the set up she kept yelling at me "DON'T PUT MY REAL NAME, SOMEONE MIGHT FIND ME AND KILL ME."

Had to go through the same thing when my dad got his new phone. Teaching him to put music on it was: "Alright plug it in, click my computer, click memory card, go to my music, right click, copy, no only mp3s... Alright, right click, copy, go to the audio folder in the memory card, right click it, or just double click it then right click inside the folder, go to paste." After all that he still didn't get it.

I believe this is typical behavior from a technologically un-savvy adult. I don't know how old she is, but I have reason to assume she still refers to DVD's as tapes, and CD's as Stereo 8 cartridges. Her obvious ignorance of the times has led her to picking an inferior phone which emits high levels of radiation. This is perfect, teach that bitch how to use the fucking phone and she'll shut herself the fuck up.

Just kidding, you should seriously stay by her side and teach your mother how to use her new toy properly. You love her.
