i dont think m. shyamalan can add a crappy twist at the end of this because avatar is written out so clearly, and because he is working a lot with the creators. im gonna go see this because i really liked the anime/cartoon, (it is not really a full anime) and at the very least, it will have cool effects :D

That looks horrible. Why must everyone make movies off the little cartoon. They're always terrible and most people, like myself, don't bother seeing them because they KNOW it'll be crap. Will they atleast keep the characters? If not it'll be even more crappy.

I thought the kiddie feel of the Avatar cartoon won't be in the movie, despite me actually kind of enjoying the cartoon. I'm gonna go see it.

Huh, a director whose movies all seem to be really samey (Seriously, watch Signs and then watch The Happening. There almost identical films and there both by M Night) doing Avatar...
As long as it doesn't play out like another movie that's Signs with a different evil thing threatening the world i'll be happy. This is just the kind of subject matter that director needs to get out of his habits.
