Demetri Martin?

Who actually thinks he is funny? I have laughed a few times at his show, but I just don't get it. He is one of my friend's favorite comedians, and my dad laughs at everything he has on his show. But for some reason I just find him funny.

I believe he is funny, actually no, I am a Fan of his. He isn't among the "Popular" Artists who talk shit about other races and make stupid faces. He compiles funny facts about everyday life and make them into views that are funny. My statment sounds dumb but he has actual "Humor". Not, "A Black person walks in and crime stoppers are there" Bullshit.

I've watched his show a few times, and I've had a few laughs. I personally enjoyed him better just doing stand up, it seems he was far funnier the first time I saw him. The last time I watched his show I the last thing I thought was "Oh boy, I wonder when this is going to get canceled?"

I love how he finds the simplicity of things through his drawings, music, sketches, etc. Plus, he reminds of a guy I used to know who worked in an underground coffee shop, which helps.

I loved his show when it first started, but after the first couple episodes, it seemed to suck tremendously. He was fairly funny though, I might check out his stand up soon. I'm guessing its better than the show he had.

Admittedly, sometimes it is a lil hit and miss, but usually, I just love how clever he is :P

i like the sketches and things he does o the shows, but the jokes he tells at the beginning are kind of pathetic. i do like that sketch with the three historical figures at TGIF's though. that has to be my favorite.

I've recently just got into him, and I have to say that his standup is MUCH better than his TV show. His witty one-liners are hilarious and unexpected, as he goes from one idea to the next. Which is a plus.

His show had a couple funny moments, but his stand-ups were awesome, they were really funny. There were only 1 or 2 though, and I've always wanted more, but they ruined it with that crappy show.

His sketches were good and that's it. He just looks funny and that's where 30% of the humor comes from.

I think he's hilarious, his comedy style is different from anybody else on comedy central.

His show is hit or miss, whoch shouldn't surprise anyone. Whenever a stand up comedian gets a show, it is NEVER as funny as their stand up, because they've always had more experience in the stand up world.

This is true even for Chapelle's Show, which was pretty damn funny. Even though his show was funny, his standup was easily funnier and more consistent. The reason his show was god was probably because Dave had experience on TV and in movies as well as stand up comedy prior to having his own show. Demitri Martin really only knew stand up and brief stints on TV, like on the Daily Show for 5 minute segments before he suddenly had his own half hour slot.

Trust me, Demetri Martin is funnier in a stand up setting where he has complete control.

His stand up was actually better than his show, as people say. Some of the sketches in the show were funny, but overall I like his standup better.

Your statement actually makes a lot more sense, and a better argument than you think it does.
