The Mandarin restaurant chain is giving out free food to anyone who's a Canadian citizen. Unfortunately, though, I heard from a few people that lineups are long, which isn't surprising. I dunno if I feel like waiting for two or three hours for food that's just gonna make me pig out. I might just go watch a movie (probably Terminator Salvation) with a friend. It's not patriotic, but then I'm not that patriotic, anyway.

Canada's independence was a long process, so you can't really fix a date on it... The confederation was a big step, which happen the first July. Another big step was the Statute of Westminster in 1931.

The process isn't yet finished.
