THIS IS NOT A REQUEST TO BE SCOUTED!

does every piece of art that you submit need to be scouted? Or is the artist the one that is scouted and then everything submitted after being scouted automatically in the art portal (with the exception of bad/ rule-breaking art)?

this is not a request to be scouted. I am well aware that I do not yet meet the requirements (4 pieces). I am simply curious, as i have already checked the FAQ and did not find my answer there.

The artist must be scouted, once the artist has been scouted their artwork will appear in the portal. Otherwise it is just displayed on the artists user page.

Scouting:

An artist who has already been scouted now has the power to scout others... the artist will see a list of unscouted artwork and the may choose to scout ONCE per day... the artist must have FOUR artwork before he/she is scouted... the artist only has to scout the USER once... NOT the artwork... once scouted if you or whom ever you scout breaks the rules... the following will happen...

1. if you break the rules... all your scouts will be unscouted and the person who scouted you will also become unscouted...

2. if someone you scout breaks the rules... you and everyone you scouted becomes unscouted...

3. if the person who scouted you breaks the rules... you and everyone else he scouted (including himself) and the person that scouted him and every user that that user scouted becomes unscouted...

in short it effects every user that is connected to you in the scout tree... once unscouted you may be rescouted by someone else but you are more likely not to be seen as someone broke the rules...
