My first concert was D12 (minus Eminem) in 2001. It was in a club in the industrial sector of Toronto. My dad had to come with me because I had nobody else to go with. Anyway, the place was packed, and we had to wait for about two hours for D12 to come on stage, after two backup bands we didn't know about. Since it was after midnight, and I had school the next day, we left only after about 45 minutes of D12's performance. I enjoyed the music, but the whole experience was kinda disappointing for me.

that wont work they have massive amplifiers and it doesnt matter how far you sit back you will be still deaf by the time the concert finishes.

Last night was something I'll never forget for the rest of my life.

My ticket was for the seated part of the stadium, but I ended up all over the fucking place, including next to the stage at one point, rocking the fuck out.

I've been to lots of football matches before and experienced some fucking wild atmospheres, but this fucking blew my mind away. I can't beleive I've never done something like that before. The noise, the fucking power of the band and generally everyone just fucking mad rocking the hell out, even old bitches with canes.

I even ended up saving some guy who started rolling down the stairs at the start of the gig.

It's just such a shame I'll never experience something like it again.

Never went to a concert, never will.

I stood outside the area of a Alfred Yankovich concert because I couldn't pay for a ticket.

AC/DC, now that's a concert worth going to!! :) My first concert, and still my first, was Rush's Snakes & Arrows tour in Montreal. It was truly amazing!! I haven't been to any concert since than, but I would love to see Radiohead, Muse and, of course, AC/DC. Have fun!!

Epic sir! They were my second concert in Jolly old England and Amazing was one of the words I'd use to describe it, when the riff to Train to Bangkok kicked in I practically came.

So they made me their chief...which was nice.

Oh definitely!! I can't even pick a favorite song from Rush, they are all mind-blowing amazing!! However, my favorite part would have to be when 2112 came on :) Pure gold. Only played the first part, but I wish the could have played the whole song. Would have been a longer concert, but godly :)

You don't have to desperately want to see a band for that experience.
Just any bad you quite like, you'll enjoy it tenfold live.
Sure, maybe not to the extent of ACDC, but shit, it's still worth trying, isn't it?

Enjoy your three chord songs with no bass, a beginner drum pattern, and a guy who screams like he has no balls, all while the 80 some guitar player jizzes all over himself.

Have fun with AC/DC. Though Thrusday I am split for seeing Judas Priest or Whitesnake. There at the
same place and the cost to get in is $12. Help me choose?

Well we were dumb enough to think it was gonna happen.

I consider seeing Genesis a few years ago my first true experience at a concert. Overall it was pretty mild because they're an old band so everyone else was 40 or 50 (no moshing, etc), but I can say I saw Phil Collins live before he retired, something my brothers can't say :3.

I'm sure seeing AC/DC is going to be a much different experience, so all I can say is this:

Haha, I went to see AC/DC in the fall of 08, really damn good.

As for my first concert, well...That was different to say the least. Was going to the middle of nowhere in Washington to see Dave Matthews play, and it was bloody brilliant. Middle of the fucking desert, 45 Celsius in the daytime, tons of people packed in tents everywhere, and finally the concert. The stage was on the edge of a 700 foot cliff called "The Gorge" everyone was completely baked, and people where dancing around like hell, I fell asleep and woke up with my hands and legs tied behind my back, same exact place I fell asleep, weirdest thing, luckily I'm pretty experienced with escape and was easily able to get out, good times...

Oh and trying to sleep was a bitch because there were like 10 people in assorted tents having sex...
