I actually got a sticker from them just a few years back. It was either in a comic book or a cracker jack bag(I cant remember). Apparently a movie was made out of them.

There are new Garbage Pail Kids still around, or at least since 2004 when I saw them at a comic book store and bought two.
Did it mostly for nostalgia--- I LOVED GPK when I was a wee 5 year old, and tried to hide them from my mom... who HATED them.
I think a neighbor kid gave them to me, and man... did I get the belt when my mom found my stash.
