Misconception about girls

Unlike what the OP stated at http://www.newgrounds.com/bbs/topic/1076 528, they generally aren't attracted to jerks. However, during certain times, they may be relatively more attracted to jerks than during other times.

Girls tend to be more attracted to jerks when they are teens than when they are adults, due to lack of maturity.

Girls/Women also tend to be more attracted to jerks during their period, due to the levels of hormones in the body. They are more attracted to a "manly man" (assuming that's what "jerk" entails here) at these times, since they tend to be better short-term mates, for producing the healthiest children. Afterwards, they go back to being more attracted to "less manly men", since the "less manly men" tend to be better long-term mates, as they are more likely to stay and take care of the children. OF COURSE, THIS IS ALL ASSUMING THAT "JERK" MEANS A "MORE MANLY MAN" WITH HIGHER TESTOSTERONE LEVELS AND NOT SIMPLY AN ASSHOLE OR DOUCHEBAG, IN WHICH CASE THEY WOULD NOT NECESSARILY BE ATTRACTED TO THEM.

Just thought I should clear that up. Women are generally not attracted to assholes.

Women aren't attracted to jerks. GIRLS are attracted to jerks. There's a difference.

If Girls were NOT attracted to jerks, then all those assholes you see with the hot girl on their arm that you wish was on yours wouldn't be there.

Think about it. Consider all the really nice guys you know in high school. The ones who are REALLY nice and considerate and all around decent. Not think about the assholes and total dickheads in your school. Now think about how much more often the dickheads get laid than the nice guys do.

It's because, at certain ages, females are immature in certain ways and are more apt to like guys who are equally immature, but in different ways. Females eventually realize this and go for guys who are decent human beings.

You want to know why being a total jerk can actually work? Because people are only interested in interesting things. Being a jerk makes you stand out, simple as that.

You can get more girls than some stupid jerk by being interesting in a positive way, not only that but you can attract the type of girls that are right for you and not just interested in small minded machismo. Highlight you're positive aspects and constantly work on making yourself the man you want to be and maybe you will truely get lucky and meet a woman who sees that man inside you.

True, though I'm pretty sure no woman wants to be with a doormat, one way or the other. It all boils down to how easily you're pushed around. If you're a yes-man to everybody and allow yourself to be pushed around, you're not going to attract many women. Rather, you're gonna get those bitchy cunts who use you because you're not man enough to say no.

Alright, let me put it this way.

Women like nice guys as much as they do jerks, the only difference is that "jerks" aren't afraid to make their wants known. They make no apologies for the sexual and manly urges that occur. They vocalize them, they act on them.

Nice guys on the other hand, dilute these urges. They let me stay deeply hidden, never voicing their sexual side so as to maintain their "nice guy" demeanor.

But if you're a manly nice guy who makes his desires known, women will fall for you all the same, only you've got an edge because you're not a prickface.

I learned this lesson sophomore year, It served me well all through highschool.

AND ALSO:

remember to touch women. Not sexually (at first) but touch them in order to build comfort. The upper arm to emphasize a point, the lower back when guiding them somewhere....it's all relatively simple shit you have to do nonchalantly in order to build attraction.
