Is there some way around the "you must be 18 or older to submit content to Newgrounds" thing? I don't want to step on any toes, so it's better to be safe than sorry...

Would I need to get my parents to submit some sort of consent form? Or, would I need special permission from Newgrounds?

It's just to cover themselves legally, afaik, they don't enforce it whatsoever, they encourage <18s to submit.

If you really want to go in there, just lie. No-one can stop you and you won't get caught.

However technically it is illegal and I say you shouldn't do it, but although it is illegal....No-one can get you for just lying.

Don't get me wrong, I've skipped over Terms of Service before without reading them. I just don't want to screw myself over later because I did that with my first mature (as in, fully developed, not 'adults only') account.

How did you "screw yourself over"?.....No-one will come to your house just because you clicked "I'm over 18" when your really not.

agreed, i know alot of users who post 18+ things and even draw them, some are more mature then others... heck... i know users over 18 which act like 13 year olds...

thats over 50% of the users are under 18... how many do you think go to the mature section?...

use your brain... if you want to go to that area see if your parents are fine with it... at the end of the day they are ment to look after you untill your old enough to cope by yourself...
