My brother sleep rambles

I stay up late, like 5am late (4:23am now) so I always end up hearing my brother speak in his sleep, it's really strange. Is this him dreaming aloud, or subconscious things that he's, for whatever reason, speaking out loud? Most of it is gibberish, like 2 words of a sentence then 2 of another.

My girlfriend's told me that recently I've been sleep-rambling a lot.

And the other day she had to get up for work and she asked me "Is it alright if I turn the light on?". Apparently I was still 'asleep' but I was sat up looking at her. She asked me again and I didn't respond, until about ten seconds afterwards, and I said, "Why, what will it do?" with a really concerned look on my face (this is what she's told me).

So she started laughing at me and I yelled "SHUT UP, GAY!" and flipped over and hid under the duvet.

Don't remember any of it.

This thread reminds me of something I found the other day. There was this guy called Dion McGregor who used to talk in his sleep, and his flatmate recorded Dion's incredibly detailed ramblings.

This is my favourite one. He seems to be dreaming about a game of roulette involving eclairs, and one of them is poisoned. Yes.

I do that a lot. Try talking back to him. My mom says she can talk full conversations with me sometimes.

My sister talks a lot in her sleep, it's usually just like hushed screams, one time though she jumped out bed and shrieked at like 4 in the morining and woke everybody up. It's kinda of entertaining listening to her talking in her sleep.

My brother says I do that when I'm sleeping.

That was hilarious. How is it that you can continue to speak for 3 minutes straight, and make sense while you're asleep? That's incredible.

And sometimes i hear my sister scream SHUTUP in her sleep. Very scary.
