Yes, that little prediction i made some time ago in this thread seems to be coming true rather quickly. Yes, they have taken Avatar, an awesome anime (yes, i consider it one) and turned it into a stupid live action movie. Who is directing this travesty? M. Night Shyamalan. Yeah, the sixth sense guy. Please tell me I'm not the only one who thinks this a stupid idea.
It looks like it has retained some of the show's style. I am not concerned at the moment.
I never really liked the show, but I think the movie is gonna be alright.
I'm not all that worried. Looking at it, it has a decent cast, some good studios behind it, as well as the proper research done into it, and, of course, a decent director. I know he's made a few flops, but I like Shyamalan's work, for the most part, although, he does seem to only do fear films, not epic fantasy... so, lets see what happens. I'm hopeful though, it has the potential to be good.
Song of the Firefly is on Steam Greenlight and Kickstarter. Give them a look and support the project!

To be honest the concept of turning avatar into a live action movie is good but turning a anime to live action show is a very bad concept I wonder how this would work out.
