Think about it this way, don't whine about it, you save more money getting a 2-liter anyway. The little damn 6-pack/12-packs cost more money for less anyway. The 2-liters cost 89 cents-1.25 each, you can get an ice tray and fill it with ice so that the drink will effectively stay cold and drink from the cup instead. It saves money is a lot better for you anyways. Just make sure to tighten the lid so it won't go flat. Saves money for your mom so don't whine.
You have a larger variety of 2-liter drinks than what few 6-pack/12-packs anyway, thank your mom instead, now she will have more money to afford other things she might need or you might need.
