I got a good deal!

I just went down to GameStation looking for a copy of Morrowind for the PC. I wasn't expecting to find one, seeing as it's getting old now. I raided the PC section for ages, even though it isn't that big and couldn't find a copy anywhere. I figured it was no big deal, I could always get it in one of the bigger stores.

But then... I saw it. Game of the year edition as well, only £9.99. There was no way I was letting the chance slip. Morrowind and two expansions for less than £10. Absolute bargain in my eyes.

Then to make thing better, I saw what I thought was a copy of Fallout 2 so I took it from the shelf only to find that it was actually the Fallout Collection. It contains Fallout, Fallout 2 and Fallout Tactics. All for £4.99. For that price I figured I was as well to take it.

So, I spent £14.98 and got four great games and two expansion packs. It's been a good day for me, and it's only 1:47PM.

Found any good bargains recently, or is there any specific older game that you are hunting for right now?

It's funny you should mention Pokemon Yellow, because I found that in my car yesterday.

I'm having an issue with Morrowind. When you try to leave the boat right at the start of the game it freezes. A common trick listed on the Internet is to minimize then maximise the game, but this isn't working for me. Does anyone have any suggestions as to getting past this issue?

i got Battlefield 1942 and 2 expansion packs and Battlefield 2142 for 15 quid.
i also got the fallout collection a while ago, it's pretty ace.
i got company of Heroes for 5 pounds too.

I'm searching through the PC section, and I find Fallout 3.
for .60 cents.

They mislabeled it, and HAD to sell it to me at that price. :DDDDDD

The same thing happened to me with a Sonic game, but I only saved 15 bucks. You saved $59.40.

They advertised as such, so it had to be sold for that price. Otherwise, it would be "false advertising" which is illegal. That said, they probably took it out of the guy's paycheck for marking it wrong.

At a sale at EB games, I got Pheonix Wright (the first one, which is pretty hard to come by) and Castlevania: Dawn of Sorrow for twenty bucks.

Really great DS games, loads of fun.

The day I went into town hoping to purchase shadow of the colossus (fucking amazing game for PS2) it was half price, brand new in a one-day-only sale. my eyes lit up, as I'd contemplated for ages on spending 20 quid to buy it (all my money at the time). Was right chuffed.

Another time, in the same shop, (GAME) I was going in to trade in 4 shitty games (harry potter and that) I'd completed, just because I didn't want em anymore. It was the time metroid prime 2: echos just came out, and there was a special deal where, trade in 4 games, get metroid 2 for ONE POUND AND NINETY-NINE PENCE. So, that was also good.

It's a good game. I just think that it is a lot harder than Oblivion. I've barely progressed through the story because I keep dying so often. It's like you don't seem to hit very often (I'm a warrior) yet the enemy always hit you and deal large amounts of damage. I'm considering lowering the difficulty settings, but then that spoils the fun.
