How do they find you?

From what I understand, the way your art starts getting shown in the art portal is by a person who's art already gets shown on their recruits you for it. The thing I wonder is how do they know where to find you? Do they go through random people's art page, and see if they have any, or does it show up somewhere for them?

And getting a little off topic, besides photography, what kinds of pictures don't they want on here. I can't draw well to save my life, but sometimes I make some okay pictures on games like Halo 3 that have a screenshots system on them. I tried asking some of the art moderators if it'd be okay if I put some halo pictures on here, but they never answered back.

I decided to upload some of my screenshots the other day though after I got impatient. Leave a comment on what you think about this, and I guess you could look at the pictures to get a better idea on what I'm talking about.

sorry to say but this isnt art... using screen shots of a game which you didnt make isnt going to look good...

the mods most likey never replied beacuse it was a very clear that these sorts of "art" are not good...

now if you think that is a cool screen shot im sorry to inform you that its infact a highly poor creation... its not funny or artistic... its a pile of wepons on the floor and very poorly make out some letters and a tree or something...

i would recomend you getting a proper art program and learn how to draw on it before even thinking about the art portal...
