No, I am not collecting this information for raiding or other illegal activities, just personal curiosity.
So I was wondering, at what time of day, and in fact, what days, do the most users show up on this site? And I mean the entire site, the Portals, the Forums and all. My hunch is that it might be somewhere around 7:00 on weeknights, or even later.
All times NG Server time (EST), please.
So, Newgrounds...

Na it wouldn't. Most people will still be in bed that time.
I'd say, if we are speaking about NG server time, it would be around 1PM to about 5PM, Thats the peak time I'd say.

If you really want to know, find the ratio between different nations that use the website, and find the time that satisfies general recreation for all those time zones.

I live in the Newgrounds time zone (U.S EST), I would say the peak times are around 7p.m to about midnight.

During the day EST at night it is very desolate and very boring unless some people want to spam which never happens anyway

Depends on the activity you mean. I believe most flashes get posted and more users are online in the afternoon. I'd say around 1 pm to 7pm EST. It stays steady at night as well, but ususally by night people got stuff to do. Usually...

During the summer in the evening. Because kids get to stay up an extra 30 minutes past their bedtime. So they spend their time screaming into voice chat in online games or posting stupid topics on forums where they are not supposed to register for being under age.

1 PM - 3 PM would be a common peak time. Another may be 4 PM - 7 PM on the weekdays, for those that work.

I would guess somewhere between 4-7 because that is the time when everyone EST is off work, and isn't eating dinner yet.

I'm on at night. I have no peak time. So I am not a statistic in this case.
Unless you're taking a statistic of deviations.

Correct. It's a little different at weekends, given that people aren't at work/school. The peaks are more evenly spread during that time.

OOOOHHH!!! Look at me. An admin actually replied to my post.
But no seriously. That's about what I thought. I was kind of surprised to see that it was so early, but it makes sense considering that's around the time most people get off work, and out of school, while as later times are usually spent sleeping, or made useful as time to get homework, and family time accomplished.
well for the average person anyways. I'm an insomniac with night terrors, so that dosn't really apply to me.

Newgrounds is good once it all calms down. Especially at this time. Usually the active "new" users have already been tired out. So we can just relax and post at our leisure.

Hey, thanks for the insight, Liljim!
It's interesting to know that it is around that time. Makes sense, though, seeing as all the kids who get on the site are usually out of school at that time, and those who are at work, it's nearly time for them to go home.
