What is the point of even making them if they are going to just randomly become inactive? Its retarded to get people to join these and they die two days later.

My gay crew is still active, relatively.
New crews tend to die simply because all of the good ideas that result in a flourishing crew have already been taken.
But, you know, it's worth a shot to try. Crews don't always die when the creator become inactive if there's enough other people to keep it alive.

When I started the computer construction crew, I figured it had died because it fell off into the second, then third page. But, it got bumped, and 40 pages later, I'm proud to say we've at least helped a few people become very happy with self built computers.
If a crew fits a niche, and other people are interested in it, it'll stay around.

I agree, I never join crews. I just don't see a point to them. Maybe Newgrounds will come out with a crew feature that's like, scripted. So it'll show crews you're a part of on your userpage or something.
