Half Life 2 EP3 expectations

It is there in the title. What do you guys expect?

Other than the Arctic climate the Borealis is in I expect to see immense jungles with a new species that doesn't come out of the ground. Because as far as I see Gears of War pretty much made the under ground monsters generic. I also expect to see a new world that is maybe inhabited by Race X.

Your thoughts?

I've got no expectations other than the death of at least 2 major characters, and the inevitable 'jump on these platforms floating in toxic waste' bit.

It will be a fairly good game where you shoot bad guys and aliens and it will have Source physics and will have some plot twists and will leave some things unexplained and will have a cliffhanger and will have someone dying.

I'd just imagine it as Gordon firing a mounted gun at flying combine and stuff. They wouldnt go as far as to let you fly a helicopter.

Well if its like the last episode I would like to see an ending cutscene where your in first person but cant play and your just watching gorden waste all his bullets on every gun he has until he pulls out his crowbar and starts beating the crap out of the enemy (could be like a boss or a bunch of combines) then like it fades to black when he gets like shot in the chest.

But really I wanna see is more weapons (combine sniper, assault rifle, sword?) and a more enhanced garphics and maybe a remake of HL2 TDM but made better.

Scratch that. It would be better if there was a level where you followed him around, and see what he does, see who he deals with. It would be a stealth level that expands on the story, as you have to stay out of the G-man's sights. You are trailing him, after all.

All I want is that we see another battle that was as thrilling as the final Strider battle in Episode 2. That was fucking intense.
I don't recall any other game that would manage to give me such powerful adrenaline rush. Not jking here, my hands were shaking after that.

The thing I hope the most is water physics. They tried it with portal 1 and in the end didn't actually do it. Just imagine if they box EP3 and Portal 2 with a new engine supporting water physics, and just imagine the new possibilities with garrysmod.

I couldn't care less about better graphics though, EP2 looks great enough already.
